Kitty Cats and Diamond Rings Well here I am again, better late than never I guess LOL. Although there's only one person I know of who awaits each blog with held breath haha, you know who you are To explain the title to those who've not been around facebook, we adopted a tiny, tiny little kitten and (finally) named her Pixie! She's only just barely 6 weeks old, a black and silver tabby with colour changing eyes it seems. At first they were blue, now lately are green. She has the cutest little elfin face, so Pixie it is. I really wanted to give her an Apache name for "little one", but couldn't really see myself calling out: "Chiquita" good god no LOL. Plenty of pics on facebook ;) So it has been fun having the little one scampering around like a nutbag, sometimes at 4am - not so fun then though. She's currently sleeping on the mouse mat quite peacefully while I type, swear at my typing, and drink cold coffee. The only other news of the fortnight is the engagement! Well not really news that much, everyone knows we're planning the wedding in August, but Dean made it official on Sunday. Still exciting to me!!!! Dean can be so sweet and romantic when he wants to be! I knew the ring would be coming at some stage, but I wasn't expecting it on Sunday. He'd tricked me into thinking that his work colleagues had convinced him to check the shelter where the ceremony is to be held is large enough in case of rain. Der me...! I said over and over, "well do they think we're dumb? we've picked a time when it hardly rains, if at all" and we looked out from said shelter discussing possible photo locations, then he took my hand and turned me towards him, where he was down on one knee. I of course said the obligatory "oh god!" and started to cry.Forgot to say yes though, but that was clearly implied ;) Strange thing is it's not like I haven't known it was coming LOL. He told me to stop crying or I'd start him off (everybody say awwwww) and then asked which ring I wanted to wear haha. I did say, "well I think just the one for now". So couldn't wipe the smile off my face for the rest of the day, not even when we got home to find accidents on the floor! Jasmine, not Pixie though LOL. And here I was thinking we were just doing the usual get-Georgia-to-babysit-while-we-get-shopping-done thing we do every second weekend! So basically, that's it...Happy now Em???? Lmao You got a the details now, just have to wait for the wedding now! 9 months and 3 days away to be exact...Do I start panicking now? Oh by the way....If I ever turn into a bridezilla in the lead up to it, if you're my friend, PLEASE SLAP IT OUT OF ME LOL! Well till we meet again...♥Sue♥
