A whole new world....again!

Well here I am finally on a "real" blogging site, if you would call it that?
I got sick of myspace really, a bit too much hassle with adding pictures etc. Not sure how I'll go with it here either, as I'm learning to use Firefox browser.

A lot for someone who is used to Internet Explorer..actually till a few months ago I thought it was the only one LOL. I'm resisting the temptation to import everything fro IE though too, cos I can only imagine the mess it would be!
Just the "favourites" would probably make it have a spack (technical terminology).
I have a bad habit of saving sites in there and never getting around to organising it all.

So the "bookmarks' in Firefox have got me totally dumbfounded, so it's a case of ignore that they are there, or use sparingly till I can figure it out! Firefox is faster but more confusing and a bit harder to use (well I think!)

Makes me think of past mistakes...like at Wavell High, when computing was introduced as a subject, I remember thinking : "It'll never catch on, I won't bother!". What would have become of me if I had chosen the subject? Would my life have been any richer for the experience????

No.....probably not!!!
I may have been wealthier, with a career, but that doesn't mean I would've been any happier, does it? I probably wouldn't have had my kids, so I would've lost out there.
I definately wouldn't have met Dean, or most of my post-school friends either.

I don't think I'd change a thing. Even though people will try to convince you that you could have a better life, more of this, more of that, I reckon that being happiest with what you have is a better life...If you never had all the better "things", you wouldn't miss them anyway, would you?

But would I know how to use a computer? Well yeah, der Fred!
But where would be the fun in that???? I'm learning as I go, with many people along the way to help me with even the stupidest-sounding questions LOL.
- this is from someone who still thinks if a drink gets spilled on the keyboard it'll ruin the WHOLE computer LMAO-

But all said and done, I reckon I'm damn rich!!
Well this is the end of the rather boring first "actual" new blog entry.
I was hoping it to be better, but the creative juices are just not flowing today, so better luck next time!!!
